Published: Nov 20 2024

In the seventh episode of Hazbin Hotel, Charlie finds herself discouraged by the magnitude of Vaggie's hidden truth. It's not Vaggie's angelic nature that bothers her; rather, it's the deceit that has left her feeling betrayed. Furthermore, the pressure of devising a strategy to safeguard her friends from annihilation weighs heavily on her shoulders. Desperation sets in deeply, compelling Charlie to strike a bargain with Alistor. Rather than surrendering her soul, she pledges to perform a favor of his choosing at a later date, with the stipulation that it mustn't harm anyone, in exchange for crucial information on their self-defense.

Alistor then opens her eyes to the reality that angels, too, can be harmed. However, he reveals that she requires additional insights from Carmilla Carmine and the backing of an army to confront the impending exorcists. Vaggie yearns to address the recent disclosure about her background, but Charlie sends her off to confer with Carmilla about her knowledge. Meanwhile, Alistor introduces Charlie to his ally, Overlord Rosie, the reigning authority of Cannibal Town.

Impressed by Charlie's resilience, Rosie vows that her cannibalistic subjects will battle alongside her against the angels, provided Charlie can earn their loyalty. Her initial endeavor to win them over fails miserably. Recognizing this, Rosie takes Charlie aside for an intimate conversation, seeking to understand what搅乱了her composure so deeply.

Charlie, with a heart heavy with confession, reveals to Rosie the doubts her girlfriend harbors concerning Vaggie, stemming from her deceptive past. This revelation now casts a shadow of uncertainty over Charlie's mind, making her ponder if every ounce of support she's received from Rosie has been but a facade. Rosie, wise and perceptive, steers her focus towards Vaggie's deeds rather than her words, urging Charlie to see the love and belief in her actions. Remembering that her hotel stands as a beacon of redemption, Charlie finds herself contemplating why Vaggie cannot also be granted a second chance.

Emboldened and ready for a renewed effort, Charlie approaches the cannibals with a melody that, to her surprise, resonates deeply within them, swaying them to her side. Meanwhile, Alistor watches from afar, his heart swelling with pride as he guides Charlie's burgeoning potential.

Elsewhere, Vaggie finds herself in a heated exchange with Carmilla, striving to make her hear reason. Carmilla, steadfast in her resolve to protect her people, remains reluctant. However, she does impart some valuable insights to Vaggie, revealing weaknesses in the exorcists' (and Vaggie's own) combat techniques. Their fearless, reckless approach leaves them vulnerable to the angelic blades. As a parting piece of advice, Carmilla urges Vaggie to fight for love, not for vengeance. Armed with this newfound wisdom, Vaggie, for the first time in hell, unfurls her wings with a sense of purpose.

Upon their respective journeys back, Charlie and Vaggie's paths converge, and they reunite with a tender kiss. Returning home, they are heartened to find that, despite the impending battle, no one had deserted them.
