Hijack – Season 2 Episode 6 1

When Daniel learns about what's happened, he rushes to see Stuart, informing him that Bailey-Brown will soon be joining him in prison. He's clearly erratic, pacing around, and may know something after all.

Back on the train, Sam wakes up on the floor, still shaken and struggling after the explosion. When he finally manages to compose himself and pick glass out of the back of his head, he confronts Jess. He demands to know what's going on and insists that she call whoever is in charge.

Sam wants Jess to reach out and let this man know that she's still in control. However, the person who picks up the phone is Robert Lang, who appears to be the mastermind behind everything. But he also tells Jess about "the people we work for," suggesting he might just be another middleman.

Regardless, Robert Lang is very much a part of this operation, given his involvement in moving Bailey-Brown onto the train. He's not happy about what's transpired and intends to detonate the train and be done with it, especially when he arms the bombs.

Sam talks his way out of this, claiming he can turn Bailey-Brown's convoy around once they get moving again. Unfortunately, despite Ada agreeing to this, she has other plans to intercept the handover.

Sam tries to calm everyone down on the train, but they're all scared and starting to get rowdy. Thankfully, Petra is still alive, despite last episode's editing making it seem like she fell in that carriage and blew up. Apologies for that confusion!

In the end, Sam finalizes the conditions with Ada, telling him to contact once they pass Signal 168. The thing is, they've already passed it. Otto realizes that they're playing blind in the Control Room and probably don't know where they are.

In the dense woods, Marsha patches up Alasdair, realizing the depth of his wound necessitates a hospital visit. She plays a clever game, claiming to fetch the first-aid kit while sneaking upstairs to hide. Her ruse works, as the assassins rush into the woods, leaving the scene.

Marsha quickly grabs the car keys and escapes, but her attempts to locate the car by pressing the keys repeatedly alert the assassins to her presence. The echo of the car's location reverberates through the forest, drawing them closer. Additionally, discovering Nick's lifeless body in the boot further unsettles her. She decides to flee when they realize she's getting away from them and step up their pursuit.

Meanwhile, Detective Beck investigates, tracking down Agata Robak, who has ties with Marko. Through her, he learns that the bomb maker's name is Jozef Kaminski and that he's about to leave Brandenburg for Warsaw. Beck hurries to intercept him.

Faber and Olivia visit Graham, seeking his help in deciphering an encrypted email sent by Sam Nelson to Thatcher. The evidence suggests a common source, but whoever sent it has covered their tracks well. They need Nelson's computer to uncover the truth.

At the station, Jess learns that the Bergmannstrasse station is swamped with police due to an unhappy Lang. Sam learns of this and renegotiates with Winter, claiming to keep Bailey-Brown and the passengers onboard, which Ada approves of.

Alarm bells ring for Sam as he realizes what's happening. They stop the train, as Sam realizes it's about to turn into an ambush. With the Control Room completely blind, Sam considers whether they could use this to their advantage.

Jess and Sam decide to manually switch the tracks to avoid the station and end up on a different line. They turn the tracks, and Otto is left to drive forward and pick them up on the way. However, Mei calls Otto away from the driver's cab, informing him that Petra needs medical attention. Unfortunately, it's too late, and Petra dies.

As Otto is being hounded by the passengers, he misses Sam's cue to move the train. This is a major problem since the police are closing in on the train. The soldiers spot Jess and Sam in the tunnels just as the Control Room acquires the flash-drive smuggled in the baby bottle. When they check the footage themselves, they see Jess murdering a man on the train, and relay this information to the soldiers. Ada gives the order to shoot on sight, and just as they fire, the train arrives... and we fade to black.

In this scenario, we can see the tense and chaotic situation that unfolds, with multiple obstacles and emergencies occurring simultaneously. The language has been refined to create a more vivid and engaging narrative, while still conveying the original meaning of the story.
