The third episode of 'Maamla Legal Hai' unfolds with a comical twist as a mischievous monkey steals the briefcase of one of the senior advocates, Cheema, outside the Patparganj court. The audacious rodent climbs a tree, opens the bag, and begins to scatter the cash, much to the delight of a gathering of ordinary citizens and legal practitioners who eagerly scoop up the fallen wads of money, leaving Cheema at a loss.

The advocates capture the monkey and present the issue to Judge Bainsla, seeking a solution to the monkey menace plaguing the Patparganj court. Tyagi proposes a unique solution: the court's peon, Shambu, would don a monkey suit and act as an Asian Monkey himself to scare away the real ones from the premises. Shambu's hissing impresses Judge Bainsla, but another senior lawyer prompts Judge Bainsla to seek an alternative solution.
Meanwhile, Ananya is with her house help's husband, a farmer seeking a stay order to halt government officials from illegally cutting down his crops. Upon learning from his wife that the officials have already started cutting, Ananya urges him to ask his wife to delay them for a few hours until they obtain the stay order. However, upon arriving at the court, Ananya is discouraged by the news of the strike.
The Patparganj lawyers block Ananya's car and refuse to let her enter until the monkey problem is resolved. Inside the court, Vishwas suggests placing tiger excreta at various locations to deter monkeys from entering. While Judge Bainsla is shocked by this suggestion, Vishwas clarifies that they would need 30 kilograms of tiger excreta to cover the entire perimeter of the court.
This scenario is not only entertaining but also highlights the humor and ingenuity that can arise in legal proceedings, even amidst a seemingly insignificant issue like a monkey problem.
He further states that there is a scarcity of tigers in Delhi, with some found only in a nearby zoo. Vishwas adds that the excreta must also be placed outside the offices of every lawyer and judge, including Judge Bainsla's. Tyagi argues that this practice leads to a strong odor in the court and asks her to reconsider their initial solution. Judge Bainsla asks Vishwas to explore other viable solutions to the problem.
At the same time, Ananya reaches out to Sujata and asks for her help with the stay order. Sujata tells Ananya that she cannot help her this time as the strike was crucial for the rights of the lawyers in Patparganj court. She then reaches out to Mintu and tries to talk to Tyagi, but he refuses to let her speak with him as he had initiated the strike.
Ananya tries to meet Vishwas but is shocked to learn that he too is busy with the monkey problem. Vishwas tells Ananya that he is going to dress up a dog as a tiger to scare the monkeys away. Ananya pleads with Vishwas to help her talk to Judge Bainsla so that she can end the strike.
Meanwhile, Vishwas discusses his new idea with Tyagi and learns that Judge Bainsla would not agree to dressing the dog up as a tiger because it could also be considered animal cruelty. Ananya gathers four more lawyers who were against the strike and together, they protest against the strike.
Judge Bainsla tries to convince Tyagi to end the strike, but he claims that he needed to show Phorey how powerful he was so that he could defeat him during the elections. He asks Judge Bainsla to accept the initial solution of using Shambu, but she refuses on humanitarian grounds. She adds that she cannot pass the order on her own as Judge Ghosh was also against it.
Ananya learns that due to the strike, she had failed to help her maid's husband whose entire 5-acre crop had been destroyed by government officials. She snatches the mic from Sujata and calls her out for stopping the court from proceeding and obstructing justice. Sujata argues that Ananya too was obstructing justice for the lawyers by meddling in the issue.
However, Mintu shows up outside and announces that their demands have been heard. Judge Bainsla and Ghosh inform the lawyers that Shambu has been appointed as the MRO (Monkey Rescue Officer) and would dress up as an Asian Monkey to drive away the real monkeys as an employee of the Patparganj court.
Mintu publicly thanks Tyagi for securing their rights, which earns him praise from the lawyers. The episode ends with Ananya apologizing to the farmer for her failure to help him.
