Meanwhile, Hal and Lois return home after learning about Malcolm’s teenage daughter. Francis surprises them with a pregnancy test, revealing that Piama is pregnant and that they are going to be grandparents. Lois is the least bothered by the news and instead tells everyone about Leah. Reese uses this moment to speak badly about Malcolm to win Hal’s favor. Kelly confronts Reese about exploiting Hal by uploading videos of him online without his consent and says they will expose him once Hal has calmed down. However, Hal overhears the entire conversation and collapses from the shock.

Elsewhere, Malcolm returns home the next morning and is confronted by Leah. She calls him out for lying and for keeping his family a secret from her. Leah also reminds him that Tristan has already left, while Malcolm warns her not to contact Hal or Lois.

At the same time, Francis tells Lois he is disappointed by her reaction to the pregnancy. He points out that she did not even congratulate him or Piama. Lois reluctantly congratulates him but says the timing is bad and that the news ranks low on her list of priorities. Later, Francis discusses this with Piama, who tries to reassure him about their situation.

At school, Alison teases Leah about not being invited to a pizza party. She continues to provoke her and calls her mean when Leah tries to defend herself. The scene is filled with tension and hostility, making it clear that things are not going to be easy for Malcolm and his family in the coming episodes.

Meanwhile, Hal grapples with the revelation of Leah's existence and feels betrayed by Malcolm and Reese. Lois tries to comfort him, but Hal rejects any physical contact. Elsewhere, Malcolm is at work, attempting to elicit a response from Tristan by exaggerating his mental state.

Leah reaches out to Hal and Lois through a video call, despite Malcolm's warning. She meets Malcolm's parents and siblings - Francis, Dewey, Jamie, Reese, Kelly, and Piama. The call quickly becomes chaotic, with everyone dropping off one by one until Leah is left with Francis, Piama, and Kelly. Leah opens up about her struggles at school. Piama advises her to try being kind to those who bully her, but Leah reacts defensively when Piama compares her to Malcolm.

Back at home, Hal tells Lois he cannot accept Leah because she reminds him of Malcolm's betrayal. He storms out just as a grand gesture arrives in the form of a confetti explosion.

At school, Leah decides to be kind and empathetic toward Alison despite her behavior. Her classmate Jason notices this and compliments her for being kind. Meanwhile, Malcolm meets Tristan at her house, but she is still upset with him. She asks him to make peace with his family and admits she cannot trust him anymore. She leaves after learning he has five siblings and tells him to contact her only after resolving his issues.

Back at the family home, Lois rushes everyone to prepare for the anniversary party, which is now 32 hours away. At the same time, Hal's friend Abe takes him to a microdosing expert, Richie, who turns out to be Francis' friend. Richie gives Hal a pill to help with his depression, but Hal consumes an entire 60 mg bowl instead. Abe tries to take him to the hospital, but Hal refuses.

The episode ends with Hal going into a meditation room to sit by himself and calm down before the party the next day. The scene is filled with tension and emotional turmoil as each character grapples with their own issues and tries to navigate their relationships within the family.
