While patrolling, the vigilante group stumbles upon a disturbing scene: three brothers attempting to lift the skirts of women. Without hesitation, Knuckleduster swings his fist in a swift haymaker, connecting solidly with one of the perpetrators' heads. Koichi, observing this, can't shake the feeling that his mentor has been acting strangely since the last villain's appearance. Moreover, Knuckleduster mutters something about a "bee tamer," a phrase that confuses the rest of the team but seems to strike a chord with Koichi—unfortunately, he chooses an inopportune moment to broach the subject during their training session. Knuckleduster seizes this as an excuse to give his partner a rigorous workout, physically engaging him in sparring.

Elsewhere, Kuin engages in a tense conversation with her enigmatic boss, the Trigger dealer. He isn't pleased with her recent stunt, which attracted a swarm of villains due to the drug's immense value. He intends to utilize it judiciously, targeting individuals with a formidable will, as he observes how mental states can influence one's quirks.

Later in the day, Kuin encounters a bizarre individual who has already experimented with other drugs. Believing that rage can be harnessed as a powerful tool, she plunges three Trigger syringes into his neck. Instantaneously, his arm swells to immense proportions, and he unleashes a devastating blow on the ground. Kuin narrowly dodges his attack, only to provoke him further, pushing him to the brink of madness. He transforms into a monstrous figure, resembling a purple Hulk.

Caught in the midst of this chaos, Pop and Koichi struggle to evacuate the civilians. When one of them stumbles, Koichi leaps into action to rescue him. Fortunately, Knuckleduster arrives on the scene, drawing the beast's attention away from them. Ignoring Koichi's advice to engage from a safe distance, Knuckleduster confronts the purple Hulk head-on. Despite the monster's relentless wave of punches, Knuckleduster narrowly dodges each one, maintaining his composure in the face of overwhelming power. Recognizing that the creature's strength is concentrated in its hand, Knuckleduster waits for the perfect moment and delivers a decisive blow, knocking the beast unconscious.

As the villain's formidable strength bore down upon his arm, leaving the remainder of his body vulnerable and unprotected, Knuckleduster, despite his earlier peculiar demeanor, found himself rejuvenated by the fierce combat that unfolded. Kuin, meantime, chafed at the vigilantes' meddling, yet her supervisor saw merit in their actions; if the vigilante group took the initiative against the villains, they could discreetly gather invaluable data without drawing undue scrutiny from heroes or the authorities.

Just then, her next intended target arrived—a naive man who believed he was embarking on a romantic evening with her. However, the narrative veers from this scene, shifting its focus to the originator of Ingenium, Tensei Iida. Late into the night, he speeds down the road in hot pursuit of a villain, matching him stride for stride. But as victory seemed within his grasp, the criminal displayed astonishing physical prowess, sidekicking Tensei with such force that only the hero's built-in airbag saved him from harm.

The following morning, as Koichi honed his quirk, Tensei crossed his path and became intrigued by Koichi's abilities. Recognizing a kindred spirit in their powers' similarities, Tensei eagerly sought to delve deeper into the mechanics of Slide and Glide.

With that in mind, Tensei went above and beyond to assist Koichi in mastering the art of deceleration after achieving swift speeds. For Ingenium, velocity was paramount; the urgency of rescue missions demanded immediate action. Convinced that his new jogging companion shared these noble aspirations, Tensei extended an invitation for Koichi to join his team upon graduation.

Later in the day, Tensei ventured out to confront a villain he had previously encountered. This time, he was better prepared, having set up a formidable barricade to thwart the adversary's escape. However, fate dealt him a blow as the monster revealed his flying-type quirk, effortlessly evading the trap. Even Tensei's team struggled to apprehend him, hampered by the challenging terrain.

Just then, Tensei caught a fleeting glimpse of movement – Koichi, gliding seamlessly into an alley. With a swift use of his ability, Koichi managed to trip the villain, causing him to stumble and fall. Knuckleduster seized the opportunity to finalize the capture.

The following day, Tensei expressed his gratitude to Koichi, alias the Crawler, for his timely assistance. Koichi's heart swelled with joy at the acknowledgment. Yet, to his disappointment, the hero relayed that he would no longer be welcome on his team. It seemed that Tensei's priorities had shifted, leaving Koichi with mixed emotions.
