In the opening of Episode 3 of Off Campus Season 1, Hannah is found masturbating, lost in thought about her impending hook-up with Justin. However, she is unable to achieve orgasm and panics, fearful of her inability to have one with him.

Later that morning, Hannah calls Garrett to inform him that she's meeting Justin for a songwriting session. Garrett is confused but doesn't stop her from going. Hannah reschedules their tutoring session, which clearly bothers him, though he hides his discomfort and tries to sound supportive before ending the call.
At the same time, Garrett is trying to study when Logan brings out a sponsorship PR package for Liquid IV addressed to him. Tucker asks Garrett to sign the deal with the brand, but Garrett refuses to work with his father on the ad campaign. Frustrated by his friends' comments, he leaves and heads back to his room.
During the songwriting session, Hannah acts awkwardly around Justin. She explains that the song is about having a one-sided attraction to someone. Justin doesn't seem particularly excited, but he offers to tweak the lyrics on his own.
Meanwhile, Allie and Sean are in the shower when she tells him about being scouted by an agent from LA. Allie talks about the opportunities in film and television that the agency could bring after graduation. Sean reacts negatively and speaks about his own plans to move to Vermont and work for his family business. Their conversation turns into an argument about their future together, leaving Allie upset.
Later that day, Logan runs into Hannah and reveals that he fixed her old car. The two talk about their part-time jobs, and Hannah is impressed that Logan works for his degree despite being a hockey player. She then goes looking for Garrett and finds him hooking up with a girl named Zoe.
The scene paints a vivid picture of the characters' emotions and desires, making the situation more relatable and engaging for the audience.
Hannah storms out, with Garrett trailing behind her. Her anger boils over as she realizes he's been sleeping with someone else while they were fake-dating. Garrett, however, reminds her that they're not exclusive and places the blame on her for cancelling their session.
As Hannah tries to leave, Garrett stops her to discuss the philosopher, Kierkegaard. She refuses to go back into the room with him but promises to send him a video about the philosopher. When Hannah says she's going to see what Justin thinks about her lyrics, Garrett's face falls.
Back in her dorm room, Hannah listens to Justin sing an updated version of her composition. Although she dislikes the lyrics, she remains silent to avoid hurting his feelings. They talk about his songwriting process, and Justin notices the playlist Hannah made for him on her laptop, causing her to panic. After he leaves, Hannah worries about what he thinks before eventually going to bed.
The next day, Hannah talks to Garrett before his retest and suddenly imagines Garrett in Justin's place while thinking about Justin going down on her. Garrett snaps her back to reality and admits he's still confused about Kierkegaard's philosophy.
During the retest, Garrett gives a speech about why ghosting is immoral according to Kierkegaard. In some way, he manages to convince both the teacher and the class. Hannah feels proud of him afterwards.
Outside class, Hannah confides in Garrett that Justin had caught a glimpse of her playlist, making her feel like an overzealous fangirl. Garrett stops her from texting Justin and insists they finish their outstanding business first. He then invites her to Malone's karaoke night. Later that afternoon, Hannah speaks with Allie and learns more about Sean's adverse reaction to the talent agency. Hannah offers her support and urges her to celebrate at the bar that night.
That evening, Garrett helps Hannah relax by offering to guard her drink while encouraging her to find something she enjoys. After several piña coladas, Hannah gets drunk. Meanwhile, an equally intoxicated Allie complains about her complicated relationship in the women's bathroom before catching Dean hooking up with another girl. The sight reminds her of their dance at his birthday party.
Logan later joins Garrett and Hannah, while Jules arrives carrying the Liquid IV package and reminding Garrett to stay sober. When Logan mentions the collaboration again, Hannah suggests filming the ad with Logan instead of Garrett's father. The boys seriously consider the idea while Hannah heads onstage for karaoke. Garrett can't take his eyes off her as she performs "Cherry Pie" by Warrant, the same song playing earlier while he hooked up with Zoe. Jules points out Garrett's obvious feelings for Hannah, though Logan still doesn't know what to make of the situation.
That night, Garrett drives Hannah and Allie back to the dorms, but Allie realizes she left her purse at the bar, which means they have no keys. Garrett brings both girls back to his place and puts Allie to sleep on the couch. Meanwhile, Hannah changes into Garrett's jersey and tries to seduce him into hooking up with her. Garrett refuses and tells her to go to sleep because she's drunk.
The next morning, Hannah wakes up to a text from Justin asking her to come over to his dorm room. Instead, she approaches Garrett and asks him to give her an orgasm before she hooks up with Justin as the episode comes to an end.
