Meanwhile, Xander grovels before Paul Darros, apologizing profusely for ruining their plan. Desperate to regain Darros' favor, he vows to make amends. He cunningly stages a theft of the master key and reveals to Jules the printer where they were created. He attempts to console her, invoking Buddhist teachings that all bodies, including clones, possess a soul. However, Jules sees through his facade, pointing out his imprisonment within the confines of the facility. Spotting her stash of drugs, she drugs Xander, allowing her to snatch the master key from his grasp and flee.

As for Xander, he watches helplessly as Darros tends to his ill sister. Meanwhile, Jules, on her escape, snares a menacing chip from Darros' office, disables the sonic barrier, and makes a swift exit. Darros, though agitated by the turn of events, instructs Tom to trail Jules, believing she will lead them straight to Lucy.

Elsewhere, Lucy gathers information from Neva about Pam and promptly visits her. The therapist spews about Jules' association with Darros, her noble purpose, and Darros' invincibility. Unfazed, Lucy knocks her out cold and rushes back to Kira, who is in a panic. She has been surreptitiously administering a plasma treatment to Eleanor, aiming to delay the onset of Alzheimer's symptoms. Lucy assures Kira that she will find Eleanor, but she needs Kira's help to bring Darros down. Accepting the reality of letting go of the original Eleanor, Kira finds closure and sets to work.

In a parallel narrative, Eleanor Printout encountered Lucas, disclosing her struggle with Alzheimer's. Already agitated, he was further shaken when Lucy arrived, prompting Eleanor to reveal the entire truth. Distressed by the moral implications of printouts' existence, Lucas retreated in dismay. Lucy, sensing Eleanor's feelings of imposture, comforted her, emphasizing that the original's memories, if they brought joy to Printout Eleanor, were all that mattered.

As they delved deeper into shared memories, Eleanor revealed Lucy's sole bloody recollection: their father's tragic suicide, a dark chapter in their past involving a bloodstained knife discovered by young Eleanor.

Elsewhere, Jules stumbled upon a runaway dog equipped with a tracker, leading her and her newfound companion to a rest stop. She contacted Craig, and in exchange for his assistance with the frightened dog's owner, Jules agreed to help him. After departing with Craig and the dog, Tom appeared, learning of the tracker from the rest-stop owner and sensing a lucrative opportunity.

Meanwhile, Craig and Jules engaged in a candid conversation. She confessed her sense of being a freak show, yet Craig assured her that their origins mattered little; it was their journey that defined them. Empowered by his words, Jules resolved to fight back, summoning Lucy to the dockyard.

Darros, meanwhile, chastised Xander for failing to convince Jules, deeming him unfit to carry on his legacy. Xander, agitated, inquired about their sister, yet Darros dismissed him with a cold shoulder. Dejected, Xander gathered his things and departed.

Tom eventually traced the dog to the dockyard, where Jules stood as bait. As he emerged from his car, Lucy and Eleanor rammed their vehicle into his, narrowly escaping while the dog devoured a dismembered piece of Tom's ear.

Lucy promptly updated Kira, who examined Josh's laptop. Alarmingly, she discovered records of Xander's creation, leaving her perplexed about Darros's motives. Kira decided to confront Emily, revealing Josh's involvement. As the episode drew to a close, Emily demanded the full truth from Kira, her gun poised menacingly.
