The episode kicks off with Shoresy (Jared Keeso), now acting as the legal advocate for Dolo (Jonathan-Ismael Diaby), Ted 'Hitch' Hitchcock (Terry Ryan), and Brant 'Goody' Goodleaf (Andrew Antsanen), in a makeshift kangaroo court against the Jims—comprising Jon Mirasty, Brandon Nolan, and Jordan Nolan. The accusation? Allegedly bedding Pam (Michala Brasseur), Melodie (Amelie McGarrell), and Britt (Celeste Ziegler). One of the Jims swiftly clarifies that their interactions never surpassed idle chatter. Michaels (Ryan McDonell) balks at meting out further punishment, asserting that they all become lesser versions of themselves away from the hockey rink. Shoresy deems it high time to reset their dynamic, proposing an impromptu hockey match that stretches for hours. Post-game, they bond over beers in the locker room, the atmosphere lightening.

Later, Nat (Tasya Teles) endeavors to persuade Shoresy to take up coaching. He declines, prompting her to share her own journey of seeing a psychologist after her mother's passing. She reveals that her therapist advised her that she had lavished her mother with love and, now that she's gone, must redirect that affection elsewhere. She analogizes this to Shoresy's relationship with hockey, urging him to find a new passion to nurture.

Shoresy seeks solace with Laura Mohr (Camille Sullivan) to discuss their romance, only to be summarily dismissed without even crossing her threshold.

Elsewhere, the Bulldogs gather to watch the Blueberry Buddies play, chattering about an upcoming prospect party. Shoresy's eyes light up when he recognizes their coach as Tendy (Christian Propp), and he can't resist taunting him. Their verbal sparring continues for several minutes until, instead of disciplining the younger team, they opt to take them to a bar. Most of their time there is spent reminiscing about Marie Mercier. Jackie mentions his crush on her, to which Shoresy assures him that appearance doesn't matter when it comes to winning her heart.

Later in the locker room, Shoresy inquiries about Marie's preferences from the Blueberry Buddies. They know little beyond her fondness for dancing. The Bulldogs encourage Jackie to take dancing lessons, to which he stubbornly objects. Shoresy launches into a monologue, detailing all the lengths he would go to please a loved one, even if it wasn't to his liking. He concludes by telling Jackie that if dancing isn't his cup of tea, singing just might do the trick.

As they delve into the realm of music, Shoresy gracefully cedes the spotlight to Hitch back at the players' apartment. Hitch imparts wisdom to Jackson, cautioning him that his utmost aspiration should be to avoid embarrassing himself. He elaborates that the crux of the matter is to demonstrate to the girl that he is prepared to expose his vulnerabilities for her sake, hence the necessity of selecting a challenging tune. Hitch selects "When I'm With You" by Sheriff. The Bulldogs then spend the ensuing moments accompanying Hitch in harmony.

Meanwhile, Shoresy is escorting the Blueberry Buddies home on their bicycles when his journey is interrupted by Mason's mother, Jill (Maxim Roy), who seeks a conversation about his coaching endeavors with the boys. She mentions that she has heard the other Bulldogs appreciate their roles immensely due to the perks involved. She inquires if he has ever considered partaking in those perks himself. Pretending ignorance, he's instructed to use the back entrance and open the gate discreetly, lest her neighbors catch a glimpse. However, he opts against it and heads back to Laura's place instead. He vows to her that he will undertake whatever it takes to prove his readiness for a committed relationship and promptly departs.

Elsewhere, Ziigwan (Blair Lamora) and Miigwan (Keilani Elizabeth Rose) inform Nat that the boys have stumbled upon Weird Sudbury, while Jackie serenades Marie with karaoke. The Bulldogs, eventually swept up in the song's magic, join him on stage. The episode concludes with Marie glancing at Jackie from outside the club, as she descends into the subway, leaving a lingering sense of anticipation.
