Something Very Bad is Going to Happen – Season 1 Episode 6 1

Rachel leads Nell to the County Clerk's office, where they break in. Rachel asks Nell to help her find any documents related to her family history, starting with the birth, death, and marriage certificates from the Larkin family. Rachel believes that some of her ancestors survived the curse and wants to figure out how they did it.

As they trace her family tree back a few generations, Rachel realizes that some of her family members never got married and simply decided to have children out of wedlock. The only one who got married and survived is her great aunt. Rachel still loves Nicky and wants to marry him, but to do so, she needs to figure out how her great aunt did it. As they work together, their bond grows stronger.

While Rachel is away, Nicky anxiously tries to contact her, but she ignores all his calls. Bris suggests that Jules and Nicky join him for a fox hunting trip to bond, believing that Nell will make Rachel see sense and come back. Obviously, Jules and Nicky are against the fox hunting trip, but Boris insists that they need to learn to get along before Victoria dies. Once she dies, life will never be the same, and they will need to decide if they still want to be a family.

During their hunting trip, Jules and Nicky reconcile, admitting their shared mistakes. The topic of Nell being Nicky's ex arises, and Jules clarifies that he had been in love with Nell long before she dated Nicky. They also discuss Victoria and Boris's tendency to shield Nicky from the truth. Jules advises Nicky to stop striving for perfection in everything, blaming their parents for that, and Nicky promises to make things right with Rachel.

Simultaneously, Nicky's trap captures a fox, who breaks its leg to escape. While Nicky and his dad choose to follow the fox's trail, Jules opts to go home. Another argument ensues between Nicky and Jules, with Nicky accusing him of being uncaring. Before Jules leaves, he reveals that he and Nell are getting divorced. Boris warns him against telling Victoria the truth, and thereafter, Boris also leaves Nicky alone to hunt down the fox.

For most of the night, Nicky spends his time in the woods looking for the fox. Meanwhile, Rachel and Nell return home to find Portia upset with them for being late to the bachelorette party. Portia confronts Rachel for ignoring all the wedding protocols and reveals that she was dumped at the altar. She then married some man in Vegas to get over the rejection. Moving forward, she asks Rachel to get with the programme and offers to help her summon a spirit.

At the bachelorette party, Rachel, with the help of Portia and a Ouija board, summons the spirit of Aunt Arlene. Initially, nothing happens, but then suddenly something moves on the board. Excited, Rachel asks another question, and the light turns off. Something hits Portia on the nose. She freaks out once she starts bleeding, and the party ends abruptly. Rachel notices the phrase 'living dead' on the board and alerts Nell.

The story is now told in a more expressive and vivid manner while maintaining the original meaning and key details.

Meanwhile, Boris encounters Nicky in the woods, revealing the sinister truth behind his seemingly idyllic marriage to Victoria. Furious at her betrayal and her lifelong deceit, Nicky rushes home to confront Victoria in her chambers. His world has been shattered by this revelation, and he demands to know if there are any other secrets she's been keeping from him. Just as he's about to press further, Victoria collapses.

Elsewhere, Portia retires to bed after taking her medication, while Nell checks on Rachel, who's attempting to contact Arlene's ghost once more. Trying to comfort her, Nell urges Rachel to believe that Nicky is her soulmate. As they speak, something shifts between them, and they begin to kiss. Suddenly, Portia storms in and interrupts them, grabbing Rachel's head as she crawls around, saying she was summoned.

To answer Rachel's questions, Aunt Arlene's spirit speaks through Portia in a muffled voice: "Something living, something dead, something stolen, and something red." The episode ends with Portia snapping back to reality and noticing that she's bleeding from the nose.
