The third episode of "Tastefully Yours" kicks off with Yeon-joo overhead Beom-woo leaving a slurred voicemail to Young-hye, revealing his sinister plan to pilfer Yeon-joo's recipes and use them to crush both her and his brother. Just as the tension escalates, Chun-seung stumbles back into the scene, equally intoxicated, but Yeon-joo swiftly disarms him with her nimble prowess.
Yeon-joo subsequently confronts Beom-woo, acknowledging his recent heartbreak and his escape to this quaint town for solace. Despite his attempts to deny having a lost love, Yeon-joo remains unconvinced.
As dawn breaks, Manager Lee Yu-jin dispatches a text to Beom-woo, instructing him to secure the recipe for seopsangjeok – a crucial step towards preparing for their upcoming restaurant venture. Beom-woo, compliant yet hesitant, approaches Yeon-joo for the coveted recipe, only to find her guarded and reluctant to part with it.
Adding insult to injury, Yeon-joo's landlady barges in, accompanied by potential new tenants, who are being shown around the premises. She casually mentions a pervasive rumor suggesting Yeon-joo's restaurant is on the brink of collapse. Suspecting Chun-seung as the rumor's originator, Yeon-joo and Beom-woo confront him, their tempers flaring. However, Yeon-joo intervenes just in time, preventing an all-out brawl that could have further tarnished their already fragile situation.
Further complications arise when complaints about Yeon-joo's restaurant pile up, centering around breaches in fire safety regulations and the absence of a valid health certificate. Ultimately, Yeon-joo finds herself obligated to pay a penalty due to the half-bag of Chinese chili powder discovered in her kitchen. Following her departure, Beom-woo and Myung-sook devise a plan to retaliate against Chun-seung by informing authorities about his unauthorized garage extension. Their actions culminate in Chun-seung parking his car directly in front of Yeon-joo's restaurant, a move that inflames her anger even further.
Later that night, Myung-sook reveals to Beom-woo that Yeon-joo intends to take a personal day the following morning to source a particular ingredient known as meju, a quest complicated by Chun-seung's antics. Early the next day, Beom-woo joins Yeon-joo on a bus ride, eager to lend a hand.
Their journey leads them to the residence of Mr. Chang-su, only to discover that he's been incapacitated by a back injury, which hindered his ability to send Yeon-joo the meju—a soybean-based product. The blame for Yeon-joo's predicament, it seems, does not lie with Chun-seung. Determined, Yeon-joo decides to craft the meju herself and enlists Beom-woo's assistance.
On their return journey, as they hold the precious meju, the heavens open up. Seeking refuge at a bus stop, they share a tender moment, Yeon-joo pulling Beom-woo close to shield him from the driving rain. However, this fleeting intimacy is shattered by a stunning phone call—someone has set fire to Yeon-joo's restaurant. Yeon-joo, along with Beom-woo and Myung-sook, confronts Chun-seung, accusing him of the arson. He protests his innocence, admitting to being drunk and recalling breaking a window but坚决否认 setting the blaze.
He grows apprehensive as Beom-woo attempts to escort him to the police station with the intention of bribery. Instead of complying, Yeon-joo grants him a three-day ultimatum to restore the kitchen to full functionality. Meanwhile, Young-hye proudly presents her truffle neobiani dish to Chairman Han. After her departure, Chairman Han confides in Sun-woo, declaring that the dish tastes atrocious and could never serve as his signature creation. Unfortunately, Young-hye inadvertently eavesdrops on the entire conversation. Sun-woo promptly calls another associate, instructing them to investigate Beom-woo's activities.
The following morning, Chun-seung initiates repair work in the kitchen. During the cleaning process, Myeong-sook discovers a degree certificate from the Culinary Institute of America bearing the name Sophie Mo. Alongside it, she unearths a photograph depicting Yeon-joo posing alongside other esteemed CIA chefs.
Frustrated by Chun-seung's inability to fix the kitchen, Myeong-sook lambasts him for his incompetence, causing him to burst into tears. He confesses his own frustration with his limitations and his father's conduct. Beom-woo then steps in, demonstrating the correct methods for kitchen repairs. Subsequently, Yeon-joo treats everyone with a Jeonju-style Jajjang. Initially hesitant, Beom-woo eventually finds it delightful.
The grocer, who has now forged a close friendship with Beom-woo, visits them with exciting news about a food truck competition. The prize money, amounting to five million Won, would generously cover the repair expenses. However, there's a catch – they must register within the next fifteen minutes. Chun-seung assures them he can make it, and thanks to his swift, albeit reckless, motorcycle riding, he and Beom-woo manage to race to the registration center and sneakily slide their application form into the pile. They eagerly relay the good news to Yeon-joo.
That fateful night, as Chun-seung ignited his cigarette, a haunting revelation dawned upon him—he hadn't been the one to ignite the restaurant into a blazing inferno. A vivid flashback clarified the truth: another hand had wrought that destruction. Meanwhile, Beom-woo was unexpectedly greeted by the arrival of Jang Young-hye. Yeon-joo approached them both, prompting Young-hye to discern Beom-woo's treacherous intentions to deceive her. In a bid to silence her, Beom-woo hastily feigned Young-hye as his estranged lover, barking orders for her to depart. A perplexed Young-hye inquired of Yeon-joo whether she was aware of Beom-woo's true nature.
