The episode then shifts seven years back in time, revealing how Writer Go, once an honest prosecutor, decided to leave his job to make more money. He recruits a con artist pastor, Ju Seok-bong, also known as the Monk, his friend Cheol-min, known as Inspector Kim, and cybercriminal Ye-rim as founding members of his new business. Along with former mercenary Cheol-woong, the group relocates to the serene neighbourhood of Samheung Island and establishes their phishing syndicate.

In the present day, Go-eun gives the team and Reporter Bong an overview of the roles of each founding member. They discuss how Writer Go recruited them and helped clear their past criminal charges. Do-gi points out that they cannot eliminate the five members without first shutting down all their overseas operations. The group searches for the server that Writer Go and the others are using. Go-eun asks Jin-eon to bring her equipment so she can hack into it, while the rest of the team plans to distract the Samheung Island scammers.

The next day, Do-gi, Sung-chul, Go-eun, and Kyung-koo attend a consultation with Writer Go and Ye-rim. Writer Go suggests starting an online shopping site, but Sung-chul insists on launching a betting website. Do-gi and Sung-chul argue briefly before dispersing to discuss the matter privately.

Do-gi confronts Writer Go, requesting his services to eliminate Sung-chul. Concurrently, Sung-chul enlists the help of the Monk to take down Do-gi. Unbeknownst to them, Go-eun meets Writer Go and shocks him by requesting the murder of her entire circle of friends. As they await Jin-eon's return with the cash and computer, Writer Go discusses their plans with the Monk and Ye-rim, revealing his desire to flee the island, steal their money, and leave them dead.

Do-gi investigates Cheol-woong's activities, discovering that he has eliminated Lee Gi-hyeon. Suspicions arise when Do-gi notices employees being dismissed. Upon Jin-eon's return, Do-gi takes Writer Go for a taxi ride and displays the cash. Meanwhile, Sung-chul lures the Monk with a distraction, while Jin-eon and Kyung-koo engage Ye-rim in a gambling game.

As the scammers remain preoccupied, Go-eun locates the main server and breaches the firewall. She uploads premium database malware to all illegal sites from Ye-rim's laptop, effectively shutting down the entire syndicate. Once completed, Go-eun contacts Do-gi.

Do-gi abandons Writer Go and rushes back to the island, arriving in time to save Go-eun from Cheol-woong's clutches. Sung-chul continues to engage the Monk in a distraction while Ye-rim returns to the temple, alarmed by a strange notification regarding a premium database. Discovering her laptop destroyed, she grabs Chef Ana and drives away.

Writer Go begins gathering what's left and questions Do-gi's true identity. Do-gi escapes in a taxi while Sung-chul, Jin-eon, Kyung-koo, Go-eun, and Reporter Bong head to the dock in a van. Ye-rim appears and attempts to attack them but fails due to the bulletproof taxi. The Monk pursues her, joined by Cheol-woong and Writer Go in their own vehicles.

Do-gi drives onto a narrow coastal road as the three vehicles attempt to push him into the ocean. With no escape, Do-gi activates the emergency button installed by Jin-eon. A powerful electric current fries Ye-rim's car, spreads to the Monk's vehicle, and kills everyone inside Cheol-woong and Writer Go's truck.

Writer Go briefly escapes on a boat but is shot by Do-gi, causing it to explode and killing him. Do-gi thanks Jin-eon for saving his life with the emergency button. The team returns home safely as the damaged taxi is towed away.

In Seoul, Reporter Bong publicly exposes the phishing syndicate after spending six months on Samheung Island. The episode concludes with Do-gi closing the mission as the rest of the team safely returns to headquarters.
