Daniela has relocated to a more modest abode and seeks solace in counseling sessions with her friend, Fabian. Though her heart yearns for Emiliano, forgiveness remains elusive. Unable to bear the weight of her dead son, Rodri, her new mission is to shield her family from the looming threat of Charro.

The Accident – Season 2 Episode 1 1

In prison, Charro relishes in his torments of Emiliano, playing mind games and turning his life into a living hell for spilling the blood of his child, Gabito. Charro's elder son, Alex, maintains a romantic entanglement with Emiliano's daughter, Lucia. However, paradise is marred by Alex's belief that his father did not slay Moncho and desires his release. Lucia, on the other hand, remains steadfast in her resolve to keep Charro incarcerated for attempting to take her life.

Meanwhile, Daniela's sister, Carla, continues her search for her husband, David, while bearing a child she rarely sees due to her preoccupation with the bouncy castle tragedy. Her book on the incident has become a bestseller, but it stirs up resentment between them. Daniela's grief also seeps into her professional life; during a stakeout, she gets distracted by a child who bears a striking resemblance to her son. Her partner, Fonseca, narrowly escapes a violent encounter with thugs, and she barely manages to save him. Despite knowing she's in a state of disarray, she claims that policework is the only thing giving her a sense of purpose now.

Elsewhere in life's narrative, Javier and Brenda welcome their second child into the world. Despite deciding on a name, Brenda ultimately names the infant Mateo, after their deceased son. Javier is unsettled and refuses to utter the name.

The day of Charro's trial dawns, charged with the murders of Barroso and Moncho. Yolanda, Moncho's wife, appears, having been deported by ICE. Carla offers her a babysitting job, which Yolanda accepts reluctantly.

Ulises, Charro's lawyer, had Lupe, his devoted wife, show up with Alex to play her part perfectly. When Charro was found guilty and sentenced to 60 years in prison, Lupe sighed in relief. Her betrayal towards Charro had been fueled by her affair with Ulises, who had even tricked the desperate Charro into signing over 100% of his estate to her.

As for the other players in this drama, Javier hired Cayetana to revamp the firm, and her first order of business was to get Emiliano out. Even Emiliano's inmate, Pomeyo, worried for him. In exchange for his freedom, Pomeyo gave Emiliano a knife. Meanwhile, Daniela had become too dependent on Fabian and even called him in the middle of the night. While passing by, he overheard his daughter, Paula, talking to Rodri's ghost. It didn't help that when Daniela came over, Paula claimed that Rodri liked her new tattoo. No one knew that Daniela had gotten a tattoo of Rodri's name, and Fabian was furious.

Back to the Charro problem, he warned Emiliano that he was going to kill him the next day. As promised, his gang started a prison riot to distract the guards while Charro went after Emiliano. The tension and drama were palpable as everyone's lives were intertwined in this web of betrayal and revenge.

Unbeknownst to Daniela's actions, she diligently does her utmost, even resorting to blackmailing the prison warden to isolate Emiliano. Her supervisor, Santos, reprimands her as they receive the alarm of a prison riot. Emiliano draws his knife, but he is no match for Charro. Charro stabs him with the same stake he had forgotten to securely hammer down, piercing through like a bouncy castle in disarray.

Next, Dynamite and Charro make a dash for it, bribing a prison guard on their way out. Charro, enraged by a prison guard staring at Lupe during her visits, kills him in a fit of rage and escapes. Emiliano bleeds out all alone, his fate a stark reminder of the deadly consequences of their actions.
