The two women trade insults, but it's a particularly cutting one from Lupe when she reveals that Emiliano was the one who took both their sons' lives - an act that may have been accidental, but Emiliano warns Javier that he's going to kill Charro as the only way to end the terror.
Alex pays a visit to Lucia, and while he hasn't heeded his mother's advice, Lucia is considering ending their relationship. He jumps to defend Lucia when a man is tailing her, only to discover it's a cop bodyguard sent by Daniela. Alex is upset, believing she doesn't trust him.

However, when Carla returns home, she discovers that Charro has taken baby Sebastian and Yolanda hostage. When she begs him, he reminds her that Carla didn't care about his son, using him for her scoops and views. He forces her to go live on TV, insisting he's innocent and that he will go after the real murderer who framed him. Lupe watches the live broadcast, looking scared.
Daniela recognizes the house with a familiarity that stirs a rush of emotions within her, but Charro is nowhere to be found. She consoles Sebastian, her heart aching as she recalls the same way she held Rodri. In a separate corner of the story, a woman bestows a man with a suitcase brimming with cash as the life they shared comes to an end. The next morning, Emiliano wakes to find Daniela by his side through the night. He wonders if they can rekindle their marriage, but she realizes that all she can offer him is the grace to move on.
Meanwhile, Lupe trembles with fear, certain that Charro will show up. Ulises tries to reassure her, claiming that Charro is not foolish enough to return home while the police are hunting for him. However, fate has other plans. Charro, having evaded the security measures, spots Lupe passionately embracing Ulises. Enraged, he shatters a window, his fury echoing through the quiet morning air.
