However, her fatigue melts away when Ezra casually mentions Jasper's call concerning Chantaine, sparking her intrigue.

Ezra's concern deepens, sensing impending peril. He contends that their only hope of safety lies in unraveling the mysteries surrounding Chantaine. Sharing his discovery of Aaron's concealed letter within the safe, he hints at its potential to shed light on their predicament.

Ezra reassures Kayla that, regardless, their refuge is impenetrable, thanks to the enhanced security measures Aaron has put in place around the villa. But just as he speaks, a disturbance arises. Chris, one of their vigilant guards, receives a substantial sum of money and promptly acknowledges receipt. He then takes a call from Marie, informing her that the deal is sealed and promising an update upon the completion of his task. The air thickens with suspense as alliances and motivations become increasingly complex. In Athens, Julie concocts a dubious meat sandwich, which Edward politely declines. Sirus arrives on the scene, cradling a pizza box that, to everyone's surprise, contains not pies but firearms. Julie selects one, and Sirus departs, leaving behind an air thick with suspicion. Edward queries Julie's need for another weapon, to which she responds that it is for his protection. She attempts to instruct Edward in the art of shooting, but the endeavor proves less than fruitful.

Julie reminds Edward that those in pursuit of her, Edward included, will stop at nothing to reach her. Elsewhere, Kayla grills Aaron about the safe, the letter, and Chantaine's whereabouts in France. She coerces Aaron into opening the safe, only to discover that the letter is missing. Aaron insists that there was no yellow envelope as Ezra had implied and否认having issued a kill order for Kayla, emphasizing that as her father, he would never harm her or Ezra.

In Tripoli, Jasper strives to reach the boat and sneak out of Libya, but his efforts are complicated when he spots someone inquiring about him. He darts back inside and hastily dials Ezra's number. Before he can impart much, the searcher enters the shop, prompting Jasper to abruptly end the call, promising to reconnect at 5 PM.

Edward, weary of perpetual flight, storms out of the house in search of a telephone. He dials Kayla's number, but she refuses to speak with him. Instead, Ezra picks up. Meanwhile, a news report on a shooting in Greece brands Edward and Julie as prime suspects. Ezra informs Edward about Chantaine and Jasper, and they agree that Edward should join the conversation later.

After hanging up, Edward notices the restaurant owner engaged in a call and glimpses his own face on the news report. In a panic, Edward dashes out but finds his return to the safehouse impossible due to the omnipresent police.

With the police hot on his heels, Edward dashes into an abandoned edifice, only to find himself cornered on the rooftop. Faced with no other option, he leaps with daring precision from one towering structure to the next, hoping to shake off his pursuers.

Meanwhile, Chris storms into Aaron's office, gun blazing, intent on taking him down. Aaron, swift on his feet, ducks beneath his desk and cries out for assistance. Enter Ezra, who swiftly disarms Chris and deals him a fatal blow, his statue serving as a grim instrument of justice. Aaron watches in awe as Chris slumps to the ground.

Turning to Ezra, Aaron warns solemnly about Chantaine, urging him to silence Kayla's incessant inquiries. He emphasizes that the revelation of Chantaine could spell doom for their meticulously crafted empire. Moreover, he implores Ezra to remain ever-vigilant, hinting that the mantle of leadership will eventually fall upon his shoulders.

Julie seeks Edward's counsel on their next course of action. He reveals the existence of Jasper, suggesting they await his call to unravel the mystery of Chantaine before plotting their next move. When Jasper finally reaches out to Ezra, the call is patched through to Edward. Jasper reveals his intimate knowledge of Chantaine, explaining how he used it to blackmail Aaron and secure his freedom, only to find himself hunted by unseen forces.

Ezra, deciding that Athens is a more convenient location, vows to wire Jasper funds so he can converge with Edward and share his insights.

Across the globe, in France, Kayla offers Aaron solace following his near-fatal encounter. Determined to uncover his would-be assassins, Aaron also accepts Kayla's apology for falsely accusing him of orchestrating the hit on her. As she prepares him a drink, she slips something sinister into it—Ketamine.

Elsewhere, Ezra rummages through his illicit stash, searching for the Ketamine that Kayla administered to Aaron. High on the promise of leading CGM, he dials Marie, eagerly spilling the beans about his impending ascension. During their conversation, he divulges Edward's location for his upcoming meeting with Jasper. After hanging up, he dials a number provided by Marie and coldly orders Jasper's execution.

Back in Aaron's house, Kayla assists a woozy Aaron inside and lays him to rest on the couch. Seizing her moment, she sneaks into his office, her eyes lighting upon the letter hidden in his pocket. As she reads its contents, her face contorts with horror.

The following morning, Aaron awakens to a chilling reality: the letter and Kayla are both missing.

Julie expertly arranges for the procurement of fresh passports for both herself and Edward. The ensuing morning, Edward crosses paths with Jasper, who has miraculously navigated his way to Athens by sea. Jasper's suspicions arouse when Edward mentions his lack of funds. In an attempt to alleviate Jasper's concerns, Edward persuades him to accompany him back to their secure hideout to sort matters out, but Jasper, unsettled, brandishes a knife.

Julie, keenly observing their interaction, catches sight of a mysterious woman approaching with stealthy strides. Her instincts kick in as she swiftly realizes the woman's true identity as an assassin and promptly fires at her. In the chaos, Jasper and Edward flee the scene, while Julie relentlessly pursues the assailant.

As the episode draws to a close, Julie, still in hot pursuit of the woman, calls out to Edward, her voice echoing amidst the unfolding drama.
