As the episode unfolds, Thony (Elodie Yung), with a bold flourish, cranks the stereo's volume to its roaring peak before casually mentioning to Fiona (Martha Millan) that Jeremy Dolan (Brandon Jay McLaren) had paid them an unannounced visit while everyone was away. Fiona's mind races back to Ludlow's urgent summons of Jeremy following the warehouse vandalism. Suspicions linger that Jeremy might have surreptitiously installed cameras within their sanctuary. Remembering Jeremy's recent replacement of the fire alarm batteries, Fiona swings a broom handle menacingly towards it, only to be halted by a calm Thony. Convinced Jeremy could be eavesdropping through spy cameras, Fiona and Thony choose their words with delicate precision, each sentence loaded with unspoken threats. Thony feigns an obligation at the Spring Valley Fluff N’ Fold, prompting a stern rebuke from Fiona. Thony counters by hinting at dire consequences should she refuse.

Elsewhere, Ramona Sanchez (Kate Del Castillo) reassures her brother Jorge Sanchez (Santiago Cabera) of her intentions to vest him with greater authority in their operations. Jorge confides in her about his collaboration with Nadia Morales (Eva De Dominici), and she warns him to be wary of Nadia's intentions. Jorge boasts of his success in convincing Nadia to let bygones be bygones concerning Ramona. Meanwhile, Nadia finds herself holding the keys to her new abode, the picturesque surroundings whispering promises of a fresh start.

Outside a bustling beauty salon, Thony and Fiona catch sight of Jeremy. Thony's voice drips with apprehension about Ramona's reaction if she discovers Jeremy's presence. She is convinced Jeremy is aware of her ties to the cartel. Fiona proposes eradicating the cameras, but Thony shoots down the idea, fearing it would only alert Jeremy to their suspicions.

Ramona extends an invitation to Thony, urging her to deepen her involvement in their operations. Thony, her voice steeled with resolve, declares her desire to sever ties with the cartel and vows to guard her silence fiercely. Ramona responds by extolling the virtues of power – how it has safeguarded her family and could do the same for Thony. She promises to consider Thony's plea for a clean break from the cartel, the promise hanging in the air like a fragile thread.

In the midst of an expansive, sun-drenched field, Jorge enthusiastically pitches Nadia the idea of a luxurious resort, sweetening the deal by pledging to orchestrate the release of Robert Kamdar's confiscated funds into her hands and catapult her to fame as the resort's face. He whispers of channeling illicit funds through shell companies to shield them from scrutiny.

Meanwhile, inside Ramona's art gallery, ASAC Katherine Russo (portrayed by Liza Weil) stands entranced by a painting until Ramona approaches, curiosity piqued. After a brief exchange, Russo reveals her identity and addresses Ramona as "Sin Cara," to which Ramona feigns ignorance. Russo, unperturbed, casually mentions how art galleries often serve as fronts for money laundering before presenting her with a search warrant. As FBI agents fan out to scrutinize every corner of the gallery, another agent presents Jorge with a warrant for his office.

Returning to her home, Ramona is met with the sight of FBI agents combing through her premises, her daughter Violeta (played by Olivia Frida Filomena) rushing into her arms, terrified. Elsewhere, JD Harris (Ryan Sands) informs Fiona that Jaz (Faith Bryant) yearns to zoom around go-karts for her birthday celebration, inquiring if Chris (Sean Lew) has heard from Camila (Esmeraldo Camargo). Realizing the cameras might be watching, Fiona kisses JD to silence his potentially incriminating remark.

Ramona confronts Jorge about Russo's suspicion that she is Sin Cara. He brushes it off, insisting there's no concrete proof tying her to the moniker. She insists he unearth the informant who spoke to the FBI. Jorge underscores the urgency of speaking with Nadia before she learns of the warrant. As Ramona scans through documents Derek provided, frustration mounts, leading her to vent her anger by smashing objects around her.

Thony is in the middle of disconnecting the kitchen faucet's water lines when an urgent message from Ramona pops up on her phone. Jeremy's arrival prompts her to rush to Ramona's side. In a hurried conversation soon after, Ramona reveals that Nadia has struck a deal with the FBI, stressing that Jorge must remain oblivious to this development. Thony volunteers to administer ketamine to Nadia, to which Ramona insists must happen that very day, warning her of dire consequences if she betrays the family.

Jorge reassures Nadia that no shred of evidence points back to the Sanchez family. Impressed, Nadia accepts his partnership proposal for the resort and suggests they meet with their first potential investor, Christian Waller, that very evening.

Fiona and JD venture to the dwelling where the cartel once held Camila captive, Fiona's conscience questioning whether the cartel's disappearance with everyone was a consequence of her actions. JD reassures her, gently dispelling the notion that she bears any fault.

Elsewhere, Thony confronts Nadia, inquiring if she had struck a bargain with the Federal agents. Nadia, steadfast in her resolve, declares she turned down Russo's offer, her sole objective being the location of Armando Morales (Adan Canto). She attributes the freezing of her accounts to her refusal to collaborate with law enforcement. Thony then contacts Ramona, insisting on a meeting before addressing Nadia's situation. Ramona, harsh and decisive, orders one of her men to eliminate Nadia. Undeterred, Thony vows to personally see it through for Armando's sake.

Moments later, Thony alerts Fiona to the impending raid on Ramona's properties, Fiona passionately pleading with her not to intervene. Overhearing this conversation, Jeremy promptly informs Russo before rushing to Nadia's residence. Following Ramona's cold command, Atticus (Sergiu Iva) speeds towards Nadia's address. Thony arrives shortly after, confronting Nadia with Ramona's erroneous belief that she is to blame for the Federal incursion. Nadia's panic escalates visibly. With swift precision, Thony administers ketamine, rendering Nadia unconscious. Jeremy enters just in time to find Thony hovering over the lifeless body.

At Nadia's abode, Russo instructs the coroner, Mats Litecky (Scott Bailey), to forward the death certificate and autopsy report. On the crime scene, Atticus catches sight of Thony in her van. Elsewhere, Jorge anxiously awaits Nadia, planning to confront Christian Waller with her. Charmaine (Amber Lynn Ashley) expresses concern as Nadia fails to answer her calls. Atticus reports back to Ramona, confirming that Thony has dealt with Nadia as ordered.

In a secret location, Nadia awakens to find Thony by her side, explaining that her "death" was a necessary measure to ensure her survival. Flashbacks reveal Thony's solemn vow to assist Jeremy in taking down Sin Cara, in exchange for his aid in saving Nadia. At the crime scene, Russo grants Jeremy and Thony permission to leave with the unconscious Nadia. Soon after, Jeremy expresses gratitude to Litecky, while Thony checks on Nadia to ensure her wellbeing.

Returning to the present, Nadia inquiries whether everyone believes her to be deceased. Thony nods, revealing Jeremy's true identity as an FBI agent. Jeremy confirms that Nadia is officially considered dead. Nadia, though physically free, wonders how she can reclaim a life seemingly lost. The episode concludes on this poignant note, leaving Nadia's future hanging in the balance.
