Fiona exhorts Thony to distance herself from the turmoil, but her grief is interrupted by the reality of the day's impending velorio—a wake to mourn the lost. Meanwhile, Luca causes a racket as he scavenges for his beloved dumpster truck, intending to bring it for show and tell the following day.

The Cleaning Lady – Season 3 Episode 7 1

Ramona (Kate del Castillo) expresses gratitude to Nadia (Eva De Dominici) for managing the affair with a steadfast resolve. The velorio, though unable to alleviate their sorrow, offers camaraderie in collective misery. Their heartfelt conversation precedes Jorge's (Santiago Cabrera) arrival, who hands Nadia the urn containing Armand's ashes. Jorge recounts how the federal agents chased them off the road, leaving them baffled as to their motive. Their contacts remain clueless about who initiated the federal involvement. Ramona reminds them that only three individuals knew the location of the drop: Dante, Ramona herself, and Nadia. Nadia vehemently denies alerting the federal agents, clarifying that her call to Thony was out of concern; she had sensed Thony's anticipation of Armand's return and thus disclosed their whereabouts. Suspicions arise about Thony being the informant.

As guests start trickling in, Ramona privately quizzes Jorge about informing Thony of Armand's impending homecoming. Jorge steadfastly maintains Thony's innocence. He speculates that Nadia might have been offered a deal by the feds, given the freezing of her assets, which now prompts him to view her with suspicion. Ramona counters by suggesting he is merely shielding Thony. Both concur that betrayal carries a steep price. Despite appearing distracted, Ramona insists she is composed.

Fiona continues her plea, urging Thony to absent herself from the wake, but Thony stands her ground, emphasizing Ramona and Jorge's expectations of her presence. Jeremy (Brandon Jay McLaren) arrives with Jumbo, expressing his desire to ensure their wellbeing in the wake of recent events. Thony dismisses the idea of seeking answers from him, urging silence as the safest course. Jeremy inquires about their security measures, volunteering to install surplus cameras from a previous client. Fiona concurs, yet Jorge discourages Thony from attending, revealing Ramona's suspicion that she summoned the feds. Thony, steadfast in her denial, argues that Jorge cannot shield her if Ramona harbors such misconceptions. Nadia joins the fray, her own suspicions flaring, warning Thony that her actions could prove fatal for both of them. Thony's apology is met with Nadia's scathing question, probing whether she regrets Armand's loss or剥夺了他的陪伴. Thony reassures her that she never meant to cause pain, to which Nadia responds with a resignation, allowing Thony to do as she pleases.

Later, Nadia encounters Isabel (Shiva Negar), who learns of her predicament. Isabel offers Nadia a toy Armand had entrusted her with years ago, symbolizing their childhood bond. Ramona and Jorge are taken aback by the sight of it. In a private moment, Ramona suggests to Jorge that they no longer need to keep Armand's belongings now that he is gone.

Jorge implores Ramona to show leniency towards her, while Thony informs Ramona that she hadn't contacted the FBI. Nevertheless, Ramona senses that someone is under suspicion. Thony brings up Dante's name, explaining her desperation for answers, as she's at a loss on how to proceed. Jorge's interruption doesn't deter Ramona; she vows to delve deeper into the matter after the wake. Meanwhile, Thony catches Dante in a tender moment with Ramona. Elsewhere, Jorge attends to Nadia, fetching her a drink and probing whether Armand or the confiscated assets weighed heavier on her heart. Nadia sharply tells him to steer clear.

Jeremy is busy setting up cameras for Fiona when he notices the smoke alarm's light is out, prompting him to check the battery. Their conversation drifts to Thony's friend and the ongoing turmoil. Jeremy shares how his father mobilized his entire construction crew to search for survivors after 9/11, only to get trapped himself when a structure collapsed. Fiona believes Thony would bravery enter a blazing building to rescue her. Meanwhile, Nadia appears to be disposing of evidence, which Jorge catches her at. He confronts her, suspecting she's burning incriminating materials. Nadia unveils an item from Luca, revealing Armand's enduring desire to be Thony's hero since she entered their lives. She laments having lost him much earlier. Jorge ponders why they only grasp the ephemerality of life when it's too late. He apologizes for doubting her.

Thony's mind drifts to a poignant memory as Jorge hands her Armand's treasured paper from Luca. She informs Jorge of Dante's arrest for Devil's Breath, convinced he's behind Armand's demise. She asks if he knew about Dante and Ramona's liaison. Jorge confronts Ramona about it. Fiona calls Thony, but she abruptly ends the call upon encountering Dante. He whisks her away to a secluded service elevator for a private chat. Fiona, noticing their departure, starts trailing them. Jorge approaches, offering Thony his apologies. Ramona concedes that trust in this line of work is scarce. In a shocking turn, Ramona shoots Dante in the head, branding it a betrayal. She instructs Thony to clean up the mess before departing with Jorge. Mistaking the target, Fiona fears Thony has been shot. She wants to flee, but Thony insists they have no choice but to confront the aftermath. Believing it's all over, Thony welcomes Fiona's help in cleaning up. She declares her intention to exit the game for good and apologizes to Armand, revisiting cherished memories.

Armand's parents arrive, and Eduardo scorns them, accusing Ramona of their son's death. Jorge retorts that he left because he couldn't stomach Eduardo's presence, accusing him of being unable to handle the truth. Nadia asserts that what's done can't be undone. Ramona justifies her actions for the family's sake. Eduardo counterclaims that Ramona tore the family apart and warns Jorge to steer clear. Thony inquires about their sister Marina, to which they reveal that Ramona's real name is Ramona Marina Morales, her identity all along. Eduardo urges her to extricate herself before it's too late. Outside, Thony enlightens Fiona that Ramona is Marina, the word Armand scrawled on the table. They ponder if Dante abducted Armand on Ramona's behalf.

Thony stands firmly resolved, insistent that she will take action concerning this matter. Jorge, his emotions spiraling, lashes out by kicking whatever comes into his path. His fury escalates to a grim extreme, resulting in the loss of several lives before he storms into a trailer, where he unleashes a blaze, consuming everything in its wake. To further his sinister plot, he frames Dante by strategically placing a gun in his grasp.

Upon his return to Nadia, her patience worn thin, she declares that she is no longer inclined to maintain civilities with anyone. Jorge, driven by a desire for justice for Armand, admits as much. Nadia reproaches him for tarnishing the solemnity of the memorial. Jorge, seeking to console her, insists that there was nothing she could have done to reclaim Armand's life.

Meanwhile, Thony discovers that Luca remains at a loss, unable to secure anything for their upcoming show and tell. She shares the tragic news of Armand with him and, in a gesture of solidarity, offers him the car.
