Published: Mar 06 2026

The episode begins with a flashback to the Armenian mobster, Alex Gazarian, who was coerced into pleading the fifth at Lisa's trial. We learn that after Lisa's trial, Gazarian's construction business crumbled, and he had to close up his shops. Vasquez had spent years building a case against Gazarian, and it all went down the drain after Mickey showed up. Out of thousands of FBI agents in LA, it's no coincidence that Vasquez showed up at Mickey's to tell him to step back.

Izzy mentions that Sam knew Gazarian through a past art gallery case. They question whether the two were working together on the Biogreen Scam, even though they had a fallout. They figure that Sam could be connected to Biogreen through the retrofitting trucks, but there's no connection between Gazarian and Biogreen. Though they haven't figured it out, Mickey points out that there's something the FBI knows. Bamba delivers a burner phone that Mickey will use to call Agent Ruth.

Mickey calls and introduces himself as Kirk Lennon, saying he's an informant. Agent Ruth calls back in a matter of seconds and makes it clear that he no longer has anything to lose. He sends the video from his house to Ruth and says he can release it to the press and the FBI. When he does, she will have something to answer for.

Cisco and Izzy are digging into Spencer Bagwell and Jeanine Ferrigno. One address connected to Spencer is linked to a hospital, while the one connected to Jeanine is at a marina. Cisco heads out to research more on the marina, and Izzy looks at the hospital address.

Maggie goes to meet Jack for dinner while trying to take care of Hayley's bullying. Jack makes a comment about Mickey making his bed, which seems to upset Maggie. Jack says it upsets him seeing Hayley's life being collateral damage in her father's life.

As Mickey prepares to go to the office, Bamba hands him an envelope that was dropped off by a boy on a scooter. Mickey finds the report reveals that Sam was taken into custody but was arrested under Kirk Lennon's name. Mickey and Bamba go to Los Alamitos, but only Bamba can go inside since Mickey isn't allowed to cross over county boundaries.

The front-desk officer provided assistance to them in discovering that Sam was pulled over on May 10th by Officer Roundtree for running a stop sign. He was then transferred to Agent Vasquez's custody. Unfortunately, while Mickey went to grab a sandwich, Bamba went missing. Mickey suddenly found himself stranded in Los Alamitos with Bamba MIA. To make matters worse, his Lincoln got ticketed. He reached out to Lorna, who advised him to take an Uber back. He also tried calling Cisco, but he was also MIA.

Next, we see Cisco tracking down a boat that is connected to Jeanine. He discovers that the mailbox is overflowing with mail. Izzy realizes that seven years ago, Bagwell was diagnosed with ALS, which hits at a dead end. She invites Grace to dinner at Mickey's office to help her figure out what she might be missing. Later in the day, Grace notes that the logo on the boat perfectly matches the one for a school in the area.

Meanwhile, Detective Drucker shows up with a warrant to search Mickey's house and office for financial records. Lorna is unreachable as she's in a meeting with Freddy, whom the injured Jack had mentioned before. The cops also show up with a warrant to search the offices as well. Freddy, a potential firm client, leaves fearing that his information might be exposed.

Drucker is taken to the storage facility where he rummages through the cabinet. As the search continues, Bamba calls Mickey to inform him that he has been arrested for a probation violation regarding his parking. Drucker seems to find something from the cabinet but keeps it hidden from Mickey and Lorna.

Izzy, deep in her research, finds Jeanine's photo in an old yearbook, where she discovers a connection. She learns that the law firm that represented Gazarian put Spencer under conservatorship. Jeanine and Spencer also grew up together.

Mickey meets with Seagal for a dinner date and some advice. Lorna phones Mickey informing him that Dana has called and they must appear in the courtroom first thing in the morning. He is needed to turn himself in, but Lorna fears Dana may use special circumstances to claim they found evidence linking Mickey to Sam's murder. This, along with the additional financial burden on the firm, nearly exhausts Lorna.

Later, Lorna calls Maggie and informs her that Dana seems to be planning a new indictment for murder. She begs Maggie for advice.

The next day in court, Judge Stone calls the court to order, but Lorna is not present. When the judge asks Mickey about his co-counsel, Maggie arrives and introduces herself as the new defense counsel. It seems she got tired of being on the sidelines and is now ready to help Mickey.
