The fourth episode of Turn of the Tide Season 2 opens with a poignant flashback to the life of young Orlando and his family of hustlers, where Arruda narrates that Orlando's aversion to blood and violence serves as his Achilles' heel. In the present, Fagnar continues to meddle with the Azoreans as they huddle over a plan to unload their entire stock of cocaine in one fell swoop. Eduardo, with a cunning mind, suggests Badocha, the premier exporter of bluefin tuna, as their conduit. Joe, feeling the heat, runs off to seek refuge with an old friend who owns a tea garden. This deportee friend keeps a low profile to avoid trouble. Fagnar's paranoia doesn't abate as he interrogates Ofelia with relentless intensity. To her, this is merely a game of cat and mouse, fueled by her own brutal nature. She claims that the Azoreans are now her pawns.

Meanwhile, Eduardo has taken the advice of Frias and Silvia to heart, becoming her informant. His first task is to record all illegal dealings in meticulous detail. The cocaine dealing drama unfolds as Badocha holds firm in his negotiations but ultimately relents to Silvia's offer. Bruna, on the other hand, struggles to stay sober, hallucinating herself attending an AA meeting and confessing her weakness for Eduardo, knowing full well he has access to cocaine.

Orlando's investigation into his brother's death continues apace, and the detective hands him Arruda's file. It leads him straight to Eduardo. The boys busy themselves transferring the cocaine from tuna cans to kegs, with Fagnar making his presence felt by throwing his weight around. Thankfully, the sale goes through smoothly, albeit with a few seagulls making off with some of the illicit cargo.

With the issue resolved, Orlando seizes Silvia's hand, his words tumbling over each other as he repeats the importance of family. He has correctly deduced that it wasn't Joe, Silvia, or Carlos who took the life of Arruda, leaving Eduardo as the sole suspect. Silvia simply nods in agreement, her mind already consumed by the intricate web of family ties.

Unaware of the intrigue unfolding around him, Eduardo trades the recording for immunity for himself and his friends with Frias. She alerts the precinct, and they launch a simultaneous operation to take down Badocha and Ofelia. Banha tries to warn Orlando, but when he doesn't answer the phone, he cuts the fax connection. Without a warrant for Ofelia, Frias' team halts their pursuit. She is frustrated but then receives a text from Eduardo.

In the auto shop, Fagnar is in a rage as 100 grand is missing. He threatens to kill everyone, and Eduardo texts Frias for help. Fagnar even confronts Ofelia, who listens calmly as Silvia spins a web of lies about Orlando having stolen the money. Orlando is shocked but powerless as Ofelia finds the money Silvia planted in his car. Frias races over but it's too late; everyone has vanished. She only finds Orlando's glasses, suggesting the Brazilians have taken him down.

Seagulls start falling from the sky after ingesting the cocaine they had grabbed. But Banha's team is successful in arresting Badocha and recovering the drugs. There's a press conference announcing that the case of the Italian drugs has been solved and closed for good.

Frias is frustrated, believing the botched-up faxed warrant is due to Banha's incompetence. She ends up sharing a drink with her daughter. Meanwhile, Joe hangs out with his friend who fought in the Vietnam war alongside him, ranting about how the USA abandoned them. Joe also learns that the fiery American with them is the friend's daughter. He wonders why she hasn't left, and she replies that family is family, through thick and thin.

In the club, the children revel in their youth, Silvia referring to them as her family and them indulging in the merry chaos of intoxication. Bruna, drawn by Eduardo's charm, struggles to maintain her composure, while Ian is poised to seduce her until Rafael catches his eye, and they find themselves engaged in a secretive game of coke. Eduardo and Rafael each deliver monologues of their desire to step up as a father figure to Silvia's child, only to be met with her unyielding rejection.

As Eduardo confronts the chemist for giving Carlos opioids, believing he's protecting his friend, Carlos reaches his breaking point and urges Eduardo to stop, blaming him for his addiction and the loss of his boyfriend. He then takes to the stage, singing of being haunted by a loved one's ghostly presence. Meanwhile, Arruda's hallucination taunts Silvia from the shadows.

Just as things seem at their darkest, Ofelia appears, revealing to Silvia that she knows she framed Orlando. The scene unfolds with a tense intensity, as each character's actions and words illuminate the complex web of love, betrayal, and addiction that weaves through this story.
