Wednesday – Season 2 Episode 4 1

Elsewhere, Morticia's mother arrives to lend a hand to Wednesday. They venture to the cemetery where several former Willow Hill patients were purportedly cremated and interred. Wednesday's sharp instincts swiftly unveil the deception in these deaths. She urges her grandmother to acquire the cemetery as a gift to her, scheming to use it against Morticia and possibly others.

Their conversation is abruptly interrupted by a crow swooping in and making off with crucial evidence Wednesday had retrieved from the bullpen. Despite her best efforts, Wednesday can't outpace the aerial thief. Frustrated, she returns to the dorm only to find Enid sharing an intimate moment with Bruno, which is awkwardly compounded by Agnes's unnoticed presence.

Agnes has been assisting Wednesday with menial tasks to free her mind for more critical matters, including sorting through her emails. Wednesday is surprisingly unperturbed to discover that her editor has dropped her.

With the clock ticking, Wednesday summons her eccentric uncle Fester. She tasks him with infiltrating Willow Hill to uncover the identity of Lois. Agnes, eager to contribute, procures the facility's blueprints. Fester checks into a local inn, where his antics soon attract police attention, leading to the unintended discovery of Bianca's mother. Amid the chaos, Sheriff Santiago calls in Fairburn for a psychic evaluation of Fester due to his peculiar behavior.

Wednesday's revelation that Ophelia once resided at Willow Hill prompts her to confront Morticia. Morticia lays blame at her mother's feet for abandoning Ophelia after she pushed herself beyond limits. Despite Morticia's attempts to rescue her sister, her mother refused alternative assistance. Hester's arrival brings news of a business venture she intends to bestow upon Wednesday.

Before Wednesday departs, Hester confides that Augustus Stonehurst is behind the forged death certificates. Morticia warns Hester against sowing discord between them, but Hester persists, accusing her of helicopter parenting. She offers to sponsor the gala if Morticia returns Goody's book, which Morticia retaliates against by burning it.

After Bianca's arrest, her mother frantically dispatched a plea for assistance via text, which immediately drew Bianca's attention. Yet, she was engrossed in the meticulous task of crafting invitations for the upcoming gala. Dort, unyielding, insisted that she complete her duties before granting her leave. Pugsley, Eugene, and Ajax, punished for their involvement with Slurp, lent her their hands in this endeavor. Dort assigned Orloff the duty of overseeing them, but Bianca's phone continued to buzz incessantly, interrupting the serene atmosphere.

Ajax, growing impatient, retaliated against Orloff with a strategically placed pebble, while Bianca, utilizing her persuasive sirens, urged Pugsley and Eugene to remain and finalize the invitations. With a determined stride, she made her way to the police station, where she wielded her abilities to ensure her mother's case was dismissed without further ado.

Elsewhere, Fairburn found herself entangled in unraveling the enigma that was Fester. She cultivated a rapport with one of the kitchen staff in hopes of solving the Lois mystery. Meanwhile, back at the school, Wednesday uncovered a startling revelation: Stonehurst, now a physician at Willow Hill, had once taught at Nevermore. Tragically, a mental breakdown had led him to become a patient within the very walls he once healed. Recognizing the urgency, Wednesday dispatched Thing to Willow Hill Asylum to alert her uncle and seek out Stonehurst.

As Agnes provided Wednesday with updates, Enid, feeling excluded, expressed her desire to contribute. Wednesday, ever considerate, granted her request. From afar, the avian adversary watched, plotting his next move, and unleashed his flock of crows upon the school. Wednesday, sensing impending danger, hastily warned Enid to take cover, but it was to no avail. One of the menacing birds attempted to seize Thing, only to be thwarted by Dort's blazing fingers that freed him from its clutches.

Enid, displaying remarkable bravery, caught Thing as he tumbled, preventing a fateful plunge to the unforgiving ground. Meanwhile, Wednesday, hot on the avian's trail, chased it into the school's depths but lost sight of it amidst the labyrinthine corridors. Her pursuit led her to Fairburn, who was engaged in conversation with Capri about organizing a music lesson for the Willow Hill patients. Suspecting foul play, Wednesday astutely agreed to join the orchestra for the gala, her curiosity piqued.

Later, Morticia confronts Wednesday about her decision to send Fester to Willow Hill, her tone a blend of stern warning and plea. "Stop before you plunge us all into deeper trouble," she cautions. Meanwhile, at Willow Hill, Thing discreetly conveys the message to Fester, who swiftly uncovers Stonehurst but discovers the man mute. In a bizarre twist, Fester accidentally electrocutes Stonehurst's parrot, unearthing a clue pointing towards Lois. Just as he ponders his next move, Thornhill betrays him to Fairburn, who promptly confines Fester in a room shared with Slurp as punishment.

At Nevermore Academy, Wednesday seeks insights from Orloff about Stonehurst. Orloff reveals that Stonehurst arrived shortly after his wife's demise, bringing with him a tale of a daughter for whom he constructed an aviary atop Iago Tower. A normie among the outcasts, Stonehurst never garnered Orloff's trust.

Elsewhere, Ajax proposes concealing Bianca's mother in an abandoned classroom for safety. Navigating the labyrinthine tunnels, they overhead Dort's anxious conversation, hinting at looming chaos. Thing soon returns with dire news about Fester's plight, prompting Wednesday to devise a rescue plan under the guise of Capri's music lesson. Enlisting Agnes's aid, Enid insistently joins the mission. The rescue unfolds seamlessly, with the cook's assistance enabling Wednesday to spring Fester. Amidst the ensuing turmoil, Slurp also slithers to freedom.

Wednesday and Fester eventually uncover Lois, revealing a clandestine program orchestrated by Stonehurst and his daughter. Stonehurst, in a macabre scheme, faked the outcasts' deaths to harness their powers, aiming to transform himself into an outcast and even metamorphosing his daughter, Judi, into an avian being. However, his野心勃勃 experiment to emulate a DaVinci backfired spectacularly, leading to Judi seizing control post his mental breakdown.

Confronting Judi, Fester frees the captives of Willow Hill. Wednesday stays behind to assist a female outcast, while Slurp indulges in a grim feast, devouring guards' brains. Taking advantage of the pandemonium, Thornhill frees Tyler, who, in a twist of fate, betrays and kills her.

Aware of Wednesday's presence at Willow Hill, Tyler embarks on a quest to terminate her, hurling her from the second-story window. By this juncture, Enid has summoned reinforcement, and the police arrive on the scene. Their attempts to apprehend Tyler prove futile, as he flees into the encroaching darkness. Inside, Slurp attacks and terminates Fairburn, addressing him mockingly as an 'old friend' before turning his sinister gaze on Stonehurst.

The episode concludes with Wednesday contemplating her actions in her final moments, questioning whether her mother's words of caution held truth, if indeed she had exacerbated their circumstances.
