After propose a spirited invite for a communal feast post-school, Tsugeura, albeit met with initial rejection, eventually persuades Suo and Sakura to accompany him and Nirei to a café. Here, Tsugeura's health-conscious demeanor is front and center. As the quartet enjoys their respite, they encounter Mitsuki Kiryu, another classmate. Nirei's fangirl instincts kick into high gear, while Sakura blushes profusely upon witnessing Kiryu enter, holding the hand of a girl they presume to be his girlfriend. Tsugeura's hyperactive and intimidating demeanor, however, inadvertently frightens Kiryu's companion, prompting Kiryu to gently reprimand Tsugeura for his lack of awareness regarding how his appearance could be intimidating. A tense moment, seemingly poised on the brink of a fistfight, is defused by Tsugeura's hurried apologies, turning the situation into a comic spectacle.

As Kiryu and his companion prepare to leave the bustling café, they are confronted by a gang intent on settling a score with Kiryu. It transpires that Kiryu had come to the rescue of the girl, who was being harassed by one of the gang members. Seeking revenge, the perpetrator had assembled his cronies to confront Kiryu. At this juncture, the other Furin members join Kiryu and his companion, and Sakura leaps into action, kicking the assailant who lunges at Kiryu, declaring, "Surrounding someone with a mob? How pathetic. I despise people like you." With that, the battle commences.

Tsugeura, ever the showman, dares his opponents to lay a hand on him, which they eagerly do, causing him to topple to the ground to the astonishment of his classmates. However, Tsugeura rebounds instantaneously, knocking his adversary unconscious. With a flashy flair, he declares, "I let the opponent shine first, then I steal the spotlight! That's my virtue!"

Meanwhile, Kiryu appears to be skillfully redirecting his adversaries towards Sakura, much to her exasperated shouts. However, it transpires that his maneuver was a clever way to shield the girl and Nirei, who stood safely in the rear. Suo reassures Kiryu with a confident, "I've got this," allowing him to focus solely on the battle. Ultimately, Bofurin emerges victorious, with Tsugeura bellowing their creed, "He who inflicts pain, wreaks havoc, or harbors malice in their heart shall be unequivocally purged by Bofurin!"

Once the girl is safely escorted away, the group forms an instant camaraderie. Kiryu requests Sakura's phone to exchange numbers, prompting laughter when they discover Sakura's solitary contact: Weather. They jest, "From now on, Sakura-kun, we'll be relying on you for the weather updates!"

The following day, as they gather at Kotoha's café, Sakura beams with joy at having amassed five contacts and being part of a group chat. Kotoha, noticing his delight, sweetly adds her number to the mix. The group buzzes with messages from its members, leaving Sakura puzzled. "We'll see each other at school; why the need for smartphone chatter?" he wonders aloud. The conversation then shifts to the topic of a group captain, piquing Sakura's curiosity. Unfortunately, his technological prowess leaves much to be desired; by the time he crafts a message inquiring about the captain, the group has already moved on to a new topic, leaving Sakura frustrated and out of sync.

Just then, three upperclassmen enter—faces Sakura recognizes from his initial confrontation with Hiragi. Suo promptly raises his hand, but instead of volunteering himself, he nominates Sakura for the esteemed position!
