In the tenth episode of "You and Everything Else," Sang-yeon and Eun-jung find themselves working side by side in the same office, a surprise to Eun-jung considering her once reserved nature. Yet, it's a secret shared only between them and Hee-jin, who harbor mistrust.
Lee Seong-ju's decision to have Sang-yeon as a producer stems deeply from their past, a past that includes a shared intimacy he desires to rekindle but she is uninterested in. Seong-ju brings up the ongoing cinematographer dilemma, wondering if Sang-hak should be brought on board. Sang-yeon, however, is opposed to this idea and insists on further searching.
Meanwhile, Director Joo speaks with Sang-hak about the current co-producing turmoil, shocked to learn that Sang-yeon and Eun-jung will be working together. The news doesn't end there; Sang-hak's inclusion in the production seems imminent.
Sang-hak bluntly rejects the idea of working together, aware of Eun-jung's existing partnership with Sang-yeon and reluctant to cause any disruptions. Yet, he makes a point to tell her he desires for their relationship to return to its former state.
Back at the office, Sang-yeon challenges Eun-jung, pressing for Sang-hak as their cinematographer. She questions whether Eun-jung is allowing personal sentiments to cloud her judgment (a clear projection?), before pressing her on the budget issues and financial concerns. The truth is, it took Eun-jung an entire week to assemble this, only for Sang-yeon to dismantle it in under an hour.
The meeting with Sang-hak proceeds, with Director Gyeong and Sang-yeon also in attendance. Sang-yeon's incessant staring is not lost on Eun-jung, who notices the glances with a keen eye. However, the meeting does not unfold as this Director had hoped. It is Eun-jung herself who speaks directly to Sang-hak, revealing that she has seen his work on Wasteland, his previous film, and wants him to be their cinematographer.
As this exchange takes place, Yu-chan from JD Entertainment does his utmost to woo Eun-jung. He clearly admires her but is clumsy and unsure how to express himself.
Eun-jung, on the other hand, asserts herself during a fiery meeting with the Director and Sang-yeon. She speaks her mind eloquently and manages to convince Gyeong to retain crucial scenes. Significantly, Eun-kjung desires the emotional backstories, whereas Sang-yeon is only focused on the revenge.
When Eun-jung "wins" this battle of wits, she also peruses Sang-hak's storyboards and is genuinely impressed by his work. Sang-yeon, however, sees things differently. She believes she has never been defeated by Eun-jung and has always come in second.
As Sang-hak drives Eun-jung home, he crosses boundaries and tells her he is happy to see her face again. But Eun-jung does not reciprocate the sentiment, though she does admit that she feels a bit more at ease with him.
